Mapuca police arrested Ajju @ Azarudhin Havangi Shaikh (29) R/o Ektanagar , Mapusa ,
Bardez, Goa for his involvement in assaulting vendor at Municipal Market, Mapusa which had occurred on Monday afternoon .
Mr. Ajju @ Azarudhin Havangi Shaikh over Personal grudge abused & assaulted complainant Shri Panchuram Nisad of Colvale who put stall at Mapuca market with metal Bengal causing bleeding
injuries to him and threatened complainant with dire consequences to kill.
In this respect Mapusa Police Station immediately registered FIR U/Sec 504 , 324 , 506 (ii) IPC and investigation was taken up.
After commission of crime accused fled from the scene, accordingly team was formed Who collected the intelligence in respect of accused involved and successfully Detained accused at Morod, Mapusa, Bardez, Goa.
Police are interrogating accused and are in process of recovering weapon of assault.
Further Investigation is in progress.
