Club Filmatics, in association with the Department of Mass to organise intercollegiate event Filmbusters. The event will be held on 28th February 2024 at Don Bosco College Panjim. Speaking to the press, the Filmatics Faculty In Charge and Professor of Mass communication Ms Sonika Lotliker stated that the event will be the first media event especially for media students in Goa, the event is designed keeping in mind that it will help the students use their creativity and bond over a film making experience. President of the club Ms Devonna Gomes then revealed the exciting lineup of events, including stop motion, fashion shows, dance, and more, with a different twist to it which will be revealed on the day of the event. She also stated that the traditional Mr. and Miss Pageant will explore the journey of filmmaking and creativity. The Principal Dr. Cedric Silveira added that Club Filmatics had been organizing events for the students of the college throughout the year, contributing to their growth. Media Coordinator, Mario Pimenta stated that the media played a crucial role in amplifying the voice of the Filmatics Club. Vice President Joel Rodrigues delivered the vote of thanks, expressing his gratitude to the Filmbusterv team, event in-charges, volunteers, sponsors, and press for their support.
