Kerala native arrested by Mandrem Police with drugs worth Rs. 14 laks.

In a major narcotic raid Mandrem Police have arrested one Kerala native accused person in a narcotic raid.

As per SP North Akshat Kaushal, Mandrem Police received a tip off regarding one suspect coming to sell drugs including charas and LSD Papers at Mandrem on 26/03/2024. Accordingly information was shared and a raiding team was formed under the supervision of SDPO Pernem Jivba Dalvi and PI Mandrem Sheriff Jacques.

Further as the person came at the said spot he was apprehended and search was conducted during which he was found in possesion of 2.63 grams of Charas and, 123 LSD Papers.

All the drugs are worth Rs. 14,36,000/- in international market.

Accused person is identified as Mr. Muhammed Nihal, age 29 yrs presently residing at Mandrem and native of Thalaseery, Kunnur, Kerala.

An FIR under sections 20(b)(ii)(A) and 22 (c) of NDPS Act has been registered.

The raiding team was supervised by SP North Akshat Kaushal and SDPO Pernem Jivba Dalvi and consisted of PSI Kunal Naik, constables Saish Pokle, Vijay Gaikwad, Rajesh Shirgaonkar and Babaji Pednekar.

Further investigation is in progress to as this is the second big raid conducted by Mandrem Police within a span of 03 days.
