Lions Club of Mapusa Suburban had its Annual Junior Orator Elocution Competition for senior school children from Bardez on the 28th November 2023 at Sacred Heart High School, Parra. The Rufina Vincents Memorial Junior Orator 2023 Rolling Trophy was bagged by Little Flower of Jesus High School, Calangute for the second consecutive year. The Chief Guest of the function was Region Chairperson MJF Lion Darryl Fernandes. The Judges for the competition were: Dr Cassandra D’sa, Lion Veena Kakodkar and Mrs Jean Lobo.
The event was sponsored by MJF Lion Rynus Vincents, the Charter President in memory of his late mother. The event was a grand success with 32 children participating and each of them were presented a certificate. The function was presided by the President Lion Jerome Simoes and cordinated by Lion Sylvia Fernandes and Lion Clarissa Simoes.
