    Delite Titans beat Pai Khot Fighters by 4 wickets and 3 balls to spare in a thrilling contest of the Desserts n More +45 Veterans Sarsangan Cricket Series at Arlem Cricket Ground, to keep their aspirations alive of making it to the finals.

    Put in to bat first, Pai Khot Fighters put up 150/3 in 20 overs with useful contribution from Sarvesh Kamat 18 (14 balls, 3 x 4s) and Sudesh Prabhudesai 18 (16 balls, 1 x 4s). The highlight of the innings was the batting of their skipper Rasik Pai Khot 40* (36 balls, 4 x 4s) and Laxmikant Kurade 45 (31 balls, 3 x 4s, 1 x 6s) who put on 76 runs in 52 balls for the 3rd wicket. A late burst by Paresh Prabhudesai 15* (6 balls, 2 x 4s) helped the Pai Khot Fighters to post 150/3.

    For Delite Titans, Sandesh Bambolkar 1-18, Yatin Kaisare 1-19 and Siddhesh Bodke 1-20 were the successful bowlers.

    In reply, Delite Titans were off to a decent start putting on 34 in 30 balls for the opening wicket, thanks to Yatin Kaisare 12 (15 balls, 1 x 4s) and Sanjay Netravalkar 49 (33 balls, 8 x 4s). In a match of fluctuating fortunes, Amith Kamat and Sudesh Prabhudesai picked 2 wickets each to get the Fighters back into the match. But some sensible batting mixing caution with aggression by Sachin Kenkre 25 (21 balls, 3 x 4s), Pradip Shetye 26* (26 balls, 2 x 4s) and Samrudh Hegde Desai 15 (9 balls, 2 x 4s) took the Delite Titans home with 3 balls to spare. The successful bowlers for Pai Khot Fighters were Amith Kamat 2-24, Sudesh Prabhudesai 2-28, Rasik Pai Khot 1-17 and Sarvesh Kamat 1-22.

    Sanjay Netravalkar of Delite Titans was awarded the Desserts n More Man of the Match award by Sudin Karmali and Rasik Pai Khot in the presence of Gomakant Mahambrey.
