Porvorim Police have arrested one person from Vasco for stalking and threatening an old female freind.
As per PI Porvorim Rahul Parab a complaint was lodged by a lady informing that her old freind was stalking her and threatening her with dire consequences.
Accordingly police registered an FIR under sections 354, 509, 506(ii) IPC and summoned the accused person. However accused person ignored the police and remained absconding.
Accordingly team of Porvorim Police station laid a trap in Vasco and through technical surveillance nabbed the accused person.
The accused person is identified as Mr. Ashley Jesus S/O Manuel Fernandes, Age-27 years, r/o Hno 126, PiseDongri, FL Gomes road, Vadem , Vasco Da Gama-Goa and has been arrested and presently under police custody.
The accuse was repeatedly sending abusive text messages and stalking the lady complainant and monitering her social networking site such as Instagram etc. and furhter threateneing her and her friends with dire consequences even after the registration of the offence and texting abusive mesages to the lady freind.
Further investigation is in progress with PSI Sarvesh Bhandari under the supervision of PI Porvorim and SDPO Porvorim Vishwesh Karpe and SP North Nidhin Valsan IPS.
