A newspaper article was brought to my notice a few months back highlighting the inadequate facilities at GPS Dhangarwada, where students were attending classes on the verandah. In response, I promptly raised this pressing issue in the assembly. I would like to thank Hon’ble CM and Minister for Education, Dr. Pramod Sawant, and PWD Minister for promptly addressing my request and sanctioning the repair work said MLA Dr Rane.

Futher MLA said that This renovation project has completely transformed the school facilities, with an additional classroom, renovation of existing class rooms, reconstruction of a toilet block and other repair works, creating an improved learning environment for our students. My commitment extends to ensuring the renovation of all Government Primary Schools (GPS) and Government High Schools (GHS) in Poriem, providing students with an inspiring space for learning, fostering motivation, and laying the foundation for a brighter future. Responding to the request from a Panch Member during my address, I have assured them that we will provide cupboards for the school, along with a water purifier.

Also Sanika Navnath Zore from Dhangarwada, Keri Panchayat was felicitated for securing the 3rd position in a recently held scholarship exam.
