Imagine Panaji Smart City Limited (IPSCDL) has completed work on its key roads in St. Inez and will be thrown open for public use way ahead of its committed deadline. This will bring improved connectivity and ease traffic flow in the city.
The newly constructed concrete roads of a total of 1.5 km including:
• Road from Vivanta Junction to Sheetal Junction, further connecting to Madhuban Junction (St. Inez)
• Road from Sheetal Junction to Caculo Mall Junction
These roads will be open on 28th May 2024 at 9:00 PM.
This commissioning will allow IPSCDL to simultaneously close the Caculo Mall Junction to traffic, to complete the highly complex work there. This work is proposed to be completed by 31/05/2024 and the Junction would be opened by 07/06/2024 on completion of the concrete curing period.
IPSCDL’s commitment to efficient project execution has enabled these roads to be completed ahead of schedule, underscoring the organization’s dedication to improving Panaji’s urban infrastructure.
“We are pleased to open the newly improved roads in St. Inez, developed under the Smart City initiative,” said IPSCDL MD & CEO, Mr. Sanjit Rodrigues. “These enhancements, including road widening and various infrastructure upgrades, are a significant step forward. We are grateful to the people of St. Inez for their support and patience in making this infrastructure development initiative a success.”
