The staff of Crime Branch Police Station led by PI Kishore Ramanan conducted raid on
Chances Casino, Vaiguinim Valley Resort, Donapaula on intervening night of 14-15/11/2023 and arrested 12 persons ( 10 persons who were betting, 0ne card shuffler and one Gaming Manager) for operating/playing illegal live playing cards game at Chances Casino, Vaiguinim Valley Resort, Donapaula Goa in violation of license condition. During House Search, 01 table of live card gambling, 06 Lenovo Tabs, 52 playing cards, 01 live Card Shuffler, 01 card scanner, 01 DELL Monitor, 01 dealer monitor, 01 cash chip float containing different amounts of chips w/rs 36,00,250/, cash of Rs. 33,000/- in different denominations have been seized. All the accused persons have been arrested.
Crime no 123/2023 under section 3 and 4 of Goa Public Gambling Act has been registered.
