Calangute Police arrests one person in Narcotics Raids at Calangute.

On 28.12.2023 between 21:15 hrs to 23:40 hrs Dongarpur Junction, Naikawado, Calangute, Bardez Goa based upon the information received from the sources, a narcotic raid was conducted by the team consisting of PSI Rajaram Bagkar, PC 6118 Shri. Amir Garad, PC 6644 Shri. Vijay Naik, PC7106 Shri. Akash Naik and PC 8084 Shri. Yogesh Kolkar, under the supervision of PI Calangute Shri. Paresh G. Naik and overall supervision of SP North Shri. Nidhin Valsan and SDPO Porvorim Shri. Vishwesh P. Karpe wherein Mostafijur Mandal S/o Chhafer Ali, age 35 yrs, R/o Angina, Sundarpur, Dangarhat, Dakshin Dinajpur, Kumarganj, West Bengal was found in illegal possession of 940 grams of narcotic drug ganja, worth Rs. 94,000/- approximately. The suspected accused person is arrested and is presently in police custody for further interrogation and investigation.
